Be part of world history and support the Marriage Equality Bill!
The Bill, currently before Parliament, has passed its first reading and would legalise marriage between same sex couples in New Zealand.

To show their support, some of the most well-loved and respected New Zealanders have come  together in a new video to show solidarity for the proposed Marriage Amendment Bill.

Pictured in the top photo are (L-R) Former Governor General Dame Cath Tizard, television personality Tamati Coffey, supermodel Rachel Hunter and (photo above) eminent psychologist Nigel Latta who are amongst the more than 20 Kiwi icons who have taken part in filming of the video last Friday, 23 November at Mika's generously donated TV Studio.

Sponsor of the Marriage Equality Bill, MP Louisa Wall is equally as pleased with the show of support for her Bill. "For these well-known people to take time out of their incredibly busy schedules, to become so publically political and make a stand is overwhelming,” she says.
